Does AMEX increase credit score?
The answer is yes. Paying off your charge card bills each month will help you raise your credit score. Those cards have no pre-set spending limit, so credit bureaus would generally not consider about your credit utilization on them. So Amex would lower the application requirements on the credit history.
Does Amex authorized user help credit?
